Your files and the text you type never leave your device, because there is no server for them to go to.

What we never see
Every tool runs in your browser. Files you open, text you paste, passwords you generate, colours you pick — none of it is transmitted, logged or stored. There is no backend to send it to.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's Network tab and use any tool, or go offline after the page loads and use it anyway.
What is kept on your device
Three things, none of which leaves it and none of which is a cookie:
- your light or dark theme preference
- your answer to the cookie banner
- a copy of the site's own pages, so the tools work offline
Clearing your browser data removes all three.
Analytics
What you do inside a tool is never measured. Which pages get visited is, by one measurement and no more.
Google Analytics counts page views, adds rough location and tells returning visitors from new ones. It sets cookies, and whether it may do so before you are asked depends on where you are.
In Europe, the UK and Switzerland you are asked first, and nothing is set until you answer. Decline and it sets no cookie and sends nothing that identifies you — only an anonymous note that a page was opened.
Everywhere else it is on unless you turn it off, which is what the law there allows and what almost every site does. If you would rather it were not, use Cookie choices at the foot of any page — the link is on every page, in every country, and turning it off there is honoured immediately and remembered.
Either way a request to google-analytics.com appears in your network tab. What the choice controls is the cookies and the recognising, not the counting.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs — IP addresses and requested URLs, as any web server does. They are not linked to an identity.
Advertising
No ads are shown on this site yet. Google AdSense has been applied for and its script now loads on every page while the application is reviewed. Once ads run, AdSense sets its own cookies and may use them to choose ads based on your browsing.
In Europe, the UK and Switzerland the question is put by Google's own consent message rather than ours. It is the one that appears on arrival there, and Cookie choices at the foot of any page reopens it. This is not a preference: an ad network may only ask through a consent platform on Google's certified list, and ours is not on it.
Refusing stops storage, and removes what can be removed. The cookies set on termiva.app — the Analytics ones — are deleted when you decline. Advertising also produces cookies on doubleclick.net, and those are on somebody else's domain: no code on this site can delete them, because a browser only lets a page expire cookies belonging to the domain it is on. What stops them being used is the refusal itself, which is sent to Google and applies from that moment.
Advertising cookies concern your browsing, not your files — an ad network on this site still cannot see a document you process here, because it never travels anywhere.
You can opt out of personalised ads at Google's ad settings or aboutads.info.
Cookies
Termiva sets none of its own. The only cookies are Google's — Analytics, and advertising once it is live. Both are refusable from Cookie choices at the foot of any page, wherever you are and whenever you like, and every tool works identically either way. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland that link opens Google's consent message; everywhere else it opens ours.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and collects no personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Access, correction and deletion apply to personal data a service holds about you. We hold none. If you believe otherwise, get in touch.
Other sites
Some pages link elsewhere. Those sites have their own policies and this one does not cover them.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything material is noted rather than made quietly. Questions go to the address on the contact page.
